The My Safe Florida Home Program and the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) are not involved in or responsible for the contractor selection process or any aspects of the construction and payment process, and does not provide any warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding the work performed by grantee selected contractors.

By participating in the My Safe Florida Home Program, the homeowner/grant recipient agrees to hold My Safe Florida Home Program (DFS) harmless and release the program from any and all liability related to the work of the contractors they select. Selecting the right contractor is critical to you having a successful construction experience.
