Prioritization Questionnaire Completion Required to Apply.  Not Interested in Moving Forward?

Prioritization Questionnaire Completion Required to Apply.

The program has thousands of potentially eligible Fl homeowners that have not completed their prioritization questionnaire in their program account portal.  If you have already had and received your initial MSFH free wind mitigation inspection and are interested in applying for a grant you must complete your prioritization questionnaire, the required next step, to be eligible to apply for a grant when they are available.  The FL legislature has designated the following categories as of July 1, 2024:

  • 1st -  Low-income homeowners age 60+
  • 2nd - Low-income homeowners
  • 3rd -  Moderate-income homeowners age 60+
  • 4th -  Moderate-income homeowners
  • 5th -  All other eligible Florida homeowners

Completing your prioritization questionnaire allows you to be assigned your place to apply for a grant.  Please go to your portal and if you see “Grant App Prioritization Open” then you have not completed the questionnaire and must do so immediately to be able to move forward with the MSFH program process.  Once you have updated your account with the necessary information, please continue to monitor your emails and account status for coming opportunities to apply for a home hardening grant. As a reminder, completing the initial home inspection and demographic information is not considered the grant application. We will notify you once the grant application itself becomes available.

If you have further questions here is the direct link to all the prioritization articles Prioritization Groups : Support Center that should answer all questions.
